Three announces Capita as preferred bidder for customer management contract

Capita has been selected as the preferred bidder by Three for a contract to provide customer management services in the UK. 

We’ll be taking over responsibility for its mobile and broadband frontline customer service and sales in Glasgow, continuing to develop an ever better experience for customers.


Director of Three’s contact centres, Gurpreet Gujral, said that appointing a specialist customer services partner – and choosing Capita as their preferred bidder - was the best way “to give our customers the best possible experience.”


The contract will see up to 450 employees in Three’s contact centre in Glasgow transfer to Capita following consultation. Capita has committed to continuing to deliver Three’s services from Glasgow.


Andy Parker, Capita chief executive, said the partnership was a demonstration of Capita’s continuing commitment “to delivering outstanding customer management for our clients across a wide range of sectors. We will leverage our customer experience expertise, including service design, to jointly develop Three’s customer management processes and tools.


“We look forward to working with Three and delivering first class services to its customers.”
