Success for Capita at the CCA Awards

 We would like to congratulate everyone who made the shortlist, because each one demonstrated a serious commitment to superior customer service.

Capita's O2 partnership and Tesco Mobile partnership were both named winners at the 2016 Contact Centre Association (CCA) Excellence Awards, held in Glasgow last week. 

O2 partnership

Our O2 customer management partnership was awarded with the ‘Innovation in BPO – A partnership approach’ award for the third year in a row.

Ben Tolhurst, partnership director, Capita's O2 partnership, said: “Winning this award is a fantastic achievement for everyone in the partnership. We have been fundamentally changing the way in which the 25 million consumers of O2’s products and services interact with them for some time through innovative business-led technology-driven solutions. 

"We have now been recognised nationally for this work and I am really proud of the team. The amount of energy, passion, hard work and long hours which has gone into delivering our transformation and then adopting these changes into the operations is off the scale, so a massive thanks and well done to everyone for winning this award.”

Tesco Mobile partnership

The awards also saw our Tesco Mobile partnership pick up the ‘Innovation in Customer Service’ award.

Max Harding, partnership director, Tesco Mobile partnership, said: “This award highlights just some of the hard work and brilliance which happens every day behind the scenes across all of our teams. This has driven Tesco Mobile to the top of the customer experience leader board in the mobile sector. 

"I’m delighted that the team scooped this award and from the look on their faces when it was announced, they’re massively proud and excited to have been recognised as best in class amongst such a strong field, making all the hard work worthwhile. Well done to Nina, Mike and the team!”

Chairman of the judging panel, Andrew Mends, commented: “This year’s winners should be exceptionally proud because it was by far the most competitive field ever with a record number of international as well as UK entrants. Our panel of 30 judges had a very difficult task due to the quality of submissions being so high. 

"We would like to congratulate everyone who made the shortlist, because each one demonstrated a serious commitment to superior customer service.”
