Success at GSA Awards 2016

This was without a doubt the most competitive year ever in terms of submissions.

Our O2 partnership has triumphed at this year’s Global Sourcing Association (GSA) UK Awards (formerly NOA), held in London on Thursday 10 November.

The GSA is a membership organisation that represents the interests of companies and individuals across the breadth of the outsourcing industry, including buyers, suppliers and advisors.

Our O2 customer management partnership with Telefonica has won 'Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Contract of the Year', the second year running that the team has been recognised in this category.

Ben Tolhurst, partnership director, collected the award along with Mark Gait from Telefonica and said: “The GSA set the standards for BPO on a global level and to win this award two-years in a row is such a fantastic achievement. It's a testimony to the passion, dedication and personal commitment of each and every one of our people who day in and day out focus on delivering excellent customer service. Well done and a huge thank you to everyone in our Partnership."

Mark Gait, head of Telefonica customer services, said: “Our partnership continues to be recognised as industry leading and we are determined to keep moving forward with new innovation whilst striving to give our customers great service every time. I am very proud of what we have achieved so far and these awards are testament to everyone’s continued hard work.”

Kerry Hallard, chief executive office, GSA UK, commented: “This was without a doubt the most competitive year ever in terms of submissions. Those who attended the awards ceremony were given the inside track on the very best examples of technology in outsourcing, but also relationship and contract management, innovation, service delivery and collaboration. I’d like to congratulate all those organisations who made the shortlist in the first place and, of course, the eventual category winners.”
