Retail still rules in the world of customer satisfaction

Though markets may continue to get tougher, the latest survey of UK customer satisfaction by the Institute of Customer Service shows positive results for the retail sector.

In January, the Institute of Customer Service released its 2018 UK Customer Satisfaction Index. The UKCSI is a national measure of customer satisfaction, based on an online survey of consumers, that collates scores for sectors and individual organisations. This year, the index found that retail – both food and non-food – remains the UK’s favourite sector for customer satisfaction. Furthermore, of the 25 top-scoring companies, 11 are retailers – including M&S and John Lewis.
