Capita to create 200 jobs in Glasgow

The organisation plans to invest almost £5 million expanding Capita Customer Management in Scotland and a further £6 million growing its IT services division in Scotland. As a result, over 200 new jobs will be created across the two businesses based at Skypark in Glasgow.

Capita and CCA survey reveals organisations don't learn from personal experience with only 2 in 10 measuring customer effort

Just two in ten organisations rate customer effort - the level of frustration, amount of time invested and the number of times an organisation is contacted - as a top three measure of customer experience. This is despite 8 in 10 respondents of a Customer Contact Association (CCA) member survey, in partnership with Capita Customer Management, admitting that they have stopped interaction with an organisation because it was too hard.

Capita and RSPCA celebrate 10 years in partnership with fundraising drive

Capita's customer management business, based in South Yorkshire, recently hosted a two day fundraising event to celebrate its 10 year partnership with the RSPCA. The two days included events ranging from animal fancy dress and a cake sale to a Christmas gift wrapping station where employees could get gifts wrapped beautifully in exchange for a small fee.

Capita preferred bidder for npower customer service

Capita plc has been selected as preferred bidder to enter into a partnership with RWE npower plc, trading as npower, to provide both front office customer management and back office services. Final negotiations are now taking place, with the contract expected to be worth approximately £120m over 7 years and is scheduled to commence on 1 February 2014.
