Ventura donates computer monitors to local charity
Ventura has donated a number of computer monitors to Dearne Valley Venture (DVV), a registered charity who specialise in life long learning for the ages of 8 - 80+.
DVV provides free training for the people of Dearne Valley in
anything from First Aid to Photographic repair and has been part of
the community for over 18 yrs.
Monitors donated by Ventura, who are currently refreshing their IT
equipment, will be used in an IT suite at DVV's premises for the
local community to use, as well as becoming part of the IT training
provided. The donation means the charity can continue to
provide free training programmes following previous vandalisation
of existing monitors.
Matt McMullen; Activate Development Co-ordinator for DVV commented "Thanks Ventura we really appreciate all your help on sorting these monitors, we have some new IT classes lined up in September and a very popular "computers for the terrified" class so they will be well utilised! You have been very kind and supportive to our project."
