Ventura answers calls for Children in Need

On the evening of 20^th November 2009, Ventura did its bit for Children in Need for the eighth consecutive year, turning its contact centre over to Pudsey Bear and the annual charity night.

Fifty to sixty telephone lines were manned by over 100 volunteers from Ventura, who gave up their own time to take donations from the public between 6.00pm and midnight at the company's Dearne Valley site in Wath-upon-Dearne.

In total £112,155.00 was pledged through Ventura's contact centre.

Volunteers received prizes in recognition of their efforts and enjoyed fun, quizzes, games and raffles throughout the evening.

Ventura is a long-time supporter of Children in Need and looks forward to embracing the fund raising fun and activities next year.
